Amanda Miller apprenticed at prestigious companies throughout the country but it was in New York City at the Metropolitan Opera that her career took flight. The magnificent Met productions and the tutelage of wigmaster Tom Watson fostered Amanda's transformation from craftsperson to designer.  Beyond opera, she has designed wigs hair and makeup both on and off Broadway and created original master wig builds for WICKED and many, many more Broadway hits along the way.  Amanda's clientele is a who's who  of revered music, theater, television, film, art, and pop stars.  She has contributed her talents to the great hair team at NBC Universal's Saturday Night Live for five seasons , the feature film community, vinyl cover art for Chappell Roan’s The Subway, and the artist CINDY SHERMAN earning Miller the New York Women in Film and Television's Designing Women Hair Design Award.
